Just returned to the internetz from an actual one week vacation. It was the first vacation that I have taken in I can't remember how long (probably about 5-6 years, maybe more). I pretty much turned my brain off, turned my computer off and just went into full relaxation mode. A week to myself with nothing to do in terms of work and nothing pressing (yay for having comics done ahead of time). I do have to say, it is a great way to clear your mind and relax the soul.

Special Landscape comic, finally decided not to be lazy and just jam it on the page in all of its landscapy goodness. Enjoy.

My home computer has met with an unfortunate fate. Having braved the internets for 4 long years it has dodged many-a-virus. Last week though it fell victim to a rather nasty registry re-writer and boot interrupter. Needless to say I spent almost an entire week trying to fix it. It is stable now for the most part but who knows when it will be down again. But no worries, the comic is safe and will continue to update as it always has. No rest for the wicked.

Computer is broke at home, comics will continue to update as normal, no worries there. And the GN03 is on its way, right after life gets finished busting my wallets knee caps. Those bills are a vicious syndicate.

Second week of December and I haven't even started November. This year is moving like a squirrle on red bull.

Page 300 has come and gone, today is the start of the next 100. The third Graphic Novel is coming soon. It includes a 10 page bonus comic revealing some of Presidents Browns history from childhood.

I'm bbaaaaaaccckkkk! So I moved on the 4th and have been without the internets at home since then. Luckily the comic has been doing its thing and updating automatically. Thankgod for some foresite and a bunch of comics done ahead of time.

A week and some ago the site was besiged by a third party ad virus. Thankyou to everyone that emailed me to give me a heads up. This helped me recognize and isolate the problem with haste. You fans rock!!

And congratulations to my gf who has found a job!! For nearly 9 months this economy has not been kind to her. But her persistance and drive finally paid off with a position she wants and not one that is grudgingly taken for min wage. Congatulations again. Love you babe.

All is going well, if you have a chance again check out my gf's new site; Sharkbyte Entertainment ; she'd really appreciate it. I've been pretty scarce lately due to my job. I'll continue to be scarce for a little while longer as I concentrate on that. No worries though, like always the comic will continue updating.

This will be the LAST of the Sunday updates. Potential career oriented job has come my way and I will be needing all my time to concentrate on that. Fear not, the Tues and Fri comics will continue to update. I hope you have all enjoyed the extra updates. I for one have really enjoyed them. Happy Birfday Melissa! Its my girlfriends birthday today. We just got back from dinner and Disney. Good eats and a fun walk. We are annual passholders, and she found out that if you sign up for something on Disneys site, you get the cash equivalent of a ticket on your birthday. So she got about 70$ as a birfday gift from Disney. Pretty cool stuff.

Tomorrow will be the second Sunday comic. I hope you are all enjoying the extra comics. Also tomorrow is mothers day. So everyone go out and do something nice for your moms. They love you and took/take care of you for the first 18 years (and sometimes more) years of your life. Rarely do they get a thankyou. Most of the time all they get is angsty teens whinning their asses off. It isn't until years later in the teens late 20s or early 30s do they realize what impact their parents left on them. So celebrate mothers day, and when it comes around, fathers day. Always remember to hug when you meet, and say "I love you" when you leave. You never know when someone might need a hug, or when those words will really matter.

And on the other side of the coin, those of you non whiners out there that have stayed true, you rock harder then any fan anywhere. Like I said to Tav on deviant art. All I need is a great fans like you guys to keep my spirits up. As long as you guys are happy there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I spend more then 6 hours a day looking for jobs, the rest of the time is spent coloring the comics, paying the bills I can, spending time with my beautiful gf, and watering my plants. So thanks to those out there that still care. I still care about you, Im just not around that often to show it.

NEWS!!!! Comic is going to go to a 3 day a week updating run while I am unemployed. Sunday, Tuesday, Friday. So enjoy it while it lasts. Also new is the C box on the right. Ill be here and there on the interwebs, I've been spending a lot of time offline getting a few things in order around here. As always nothing will stop the comic from updating but I may disappear again.

To all the whiners out there, deal with it. There have been a few people that think their lives are supposed to take priority over mine and this comic. They seem to think that throwing a fit and claiming this and that will some how guilt me into spending more time on the forum. They seem to think my absence from the forum and chat is a personal attack on them. What I would like them to remember is that I am UNEMPLOYED. I am working very hard on attempting to find EMPLOYMENT. Which means that I spend ALOT of time offline. I provide all the services you use free of charge to you. Don't you dare for a second think that you are the most important part of what I have created. I do what I can to accommodate everyone. All I ask is that you do the same for me. A little understanding goes a long way. Instead of complaining how much the forum/chat/news/comics suck why don't you cheer the fuck up and deal with it.

Still unemployed. Nothing much more to report. My tomato plant is about 6 feet tall with about 40+ green cherry tomatoes on it. My snow snap peas are full and fresh, tasted great. Oregeno is out of control all over the place. Made apple pie, baklava, cookies, pita bread, and perfect steaks. Its one of my catharic exercises, along with painting and writing. Keeps me sane. We'll see what else I can cook up.

Hey all, I have a new painting up for auction so drop on by and throw some bids in if you have some cash.

EarthBox update, the cherry tomato plant has take over and is growing 1-2 inches a day! The Oregano has also finally taken off along with the Rosemary. The Basil and Serrano pepper have fianlly got a leg up and started growing visibly as well.

I have done some major overhauls to the Gallery, and created two new pages to house the Art of War concept art. I am currently working to build yet another page to house the Aircats concept work.

ATTENTION : Do not panic if some of the images in the gallery disappear for a moment. I am doing some site maintenance and things will be going up and down today. The Comic will not be affected.

So about a week and a half back my gf and I were watching our daily cooking shows (being unemployed has its advantages especially when it comes to daily cooking shows). On one particular show, they were showing a home/apartment solution for a small garden. I was very impressed, having grown up on a farm I have green thumbs and a constant need to create. This particular item intrigued me the most because of its simplicity and ease of use. The product was called the EarthBox . It is a very clever solution to a common problem, how to keep your soil rich and moist. Well what they did was (you can watch the exact process on their site) take a large plastic bin, stick a grating about an inch and a half off the bottom and fit it with a filling pipe. Now what happens is you fill the bottom with water, and cram two corners of the grate with dirt before filling the rest up. This leaves a water reservoir below your dirt and two "wick" spots which draws the water into the main body. You then cover the top with a sheet of plastic and cut small holes in which to plant. This whole thing is a very simple water recirculartor. The box heats up and the water rises up through the dirt watering the plants from roost to stem. And when it reaches the top the plastic keeps most of the water from evaporating and lets it soak back into the soil. What you get is a perfect environment to grow. We set ours up with a Cherry Tomato plant, a small thing of Oregano, Rosemary, and Basil, and a Serrano pepper. So far, so good. The Tomato is growing like craziness and the Oregano is starting to fill out well. Here are some pictures.

Feeling a bit better now. Have some arts that Ill post later in the day. Can't believe March is already half over. Where the hell did that month go.

Been bed ridden the last 4 days or so with the flu/super cold (and its not over yet). Comic will update as normal but Ill be very scarce. Email me or call me if you need me.

March is here and the job search goes on. Sold the painting and am thinking of doing another. If you have suggestions let me know. Might do a few smaller ones to spead them out.

Put a few coats of sealer and a clear coat and hung up the four paintings today. Have a look. I wanted to put them all together but I did not have a wall big enough in the living room. So I had to split them around the TV.

Wow January is over. One down 11 to go. But on a brighter note February is the month of freakin awesome games. Street Fighter IV on the 18th, Fire Emblem on the 16th, Ys Book 1 &2 on the 24th, Dragon Quest on the 17th, Warhammer 40k Dawn of War II on the 18th, Blue Dragon Plus on the 24th. Lots of fun. Plus Atlus is releasing a ton of stuff in March as well. God I love that company. I don't think they have put out a game that I haven't like. Though I could be biased from working there.

Betrayal, lets talk about it. It seems fitting seeing todays comic. It is ironic that todays comic and life seem to line up together, or is that coincidental. Either way, betrayal. It is possibly the most harm you can do to someone. In my opinion, worse the death itself. With death your done, you don't have to face anything after that. But betrayal, that lasts a long time. Longer if its from someone you've always trusted. You have to live with the lies, and the truths you now know. Truths you've always known deep inside the back you your mind but were never willing to admit to yourself. I guess it happens between everyone at some point in their lives. Best friends, lovers, co-workers, people you know, even people you don't know. Its a sobering experience to have a knife thrust into your back. You realize the world is not as big as you thought it was. It is a small fearful world with hints of claustrophobia that is as selfish as they come. Hell, look at yourself, rest assured that you will betray someone, maybe not on purpose or maybe you did it for the hell of it. Maybe you were betrayed recently. What ever the reason your world just shrunk. The grandiose sparkling jewel where anything you can imagaine can come true, just got a little duller and the sky seems that much farther away. Your heart breaks just a little as you find there are less and less people in the world that you can trust. And even less people that are the people that you thought you knew so well. All it takes is an overheard conversation that you were not supposed to hear, something seen that was not supposed to be seen, something deliberate to break your heart/ruin you, something that sweeps the floor out from under you.
It's times like these that you need someone to fall back on, but there is the problem. Most of the time the person doing the betraying is that person you need to fall back on. You begin to fall, and there is noone there to catch you. Just laughter, just taunts, just the knife in your back that you cannot reach. But occasionally, there is someone you can fall back on someone you can trust. When that happens, hold onto them dearly. Don't let go. Sure there might be betrayals down the road, but be happy. You cannot spend your life worrying about where the knife will come from. Surround yourself with people that enjoy your company and never stop smiling.

December December December. The year is officaly over. The company I am working for has moved to a new building, the game I am working on has moved into crunch mode, my old car has moved on, I have moved on to a new car, the comic keeps moving, a month of moves. Who knows where it will all go. Been goofin around with water color paints lately and have been having a ball. They are really fun to work with. Nearly filled a sketch book with the water color "sketches". Fun times.

Ok, quick update, I moved this weekend so everything of mine is in disarray. I have no internet at home and well, nothing set up to even jimmy my computer to. So bear with me until I can get everything up and running and back on schedual. Comics will still appear at their regular times, no worries about that. Ill be a ghost on the forum (even less so then the last few weeks), just because I need to get the old apartment cleaned, set up the new one, etc etc etc etc. My sister was over last weekend and we had a blast, went and visted the beach, Disneyland, movies, just chilled out and had some fun. Its her Birfday today (I thought it was yesturday, funny story about that, ask me sometime), so HAPPY BIRFDAY LITTLE SISTER!

Friday, wow, september is flying by. My sister is coming to visit next week, and immediatly after that I am moving to a different apartment. Extremely busy this month and whats in store next month, Vol 2 of the Graphic Novel. Soooo Im trying to get all 200 pages done this month to get the graphic novel out by the time page 200 actually hits (oct 31 for all those interested... almost like I planned it =>.>= =<.<=). But all in all should be fun. Lets just keep our fingers crossed that I don't run into the same printing problems as last time.

BR25 up and running, its a special Olympics addition so be sure to stop by and check it out. So heres a question, I was talking with my gf last night and she seems convinced that I could sell one of my Chocobo paintings. While Im not willing to let go of one of my originals I could be persuaded to create a copy of one of the three. The question is, how much would someone pay for it? Just a ball park estimate of what you think they are worth. Im curious to see. In other news not much happeneing, busy busy busy. Doing a bit of work on the new Graphic Novel. Ok, a little update. Ive been gone all weekend helping my gf find an apartment and adjust to life in LA. Which most people would think "wow LA, must be great". When in reality, its really not. Its pretty much just another city, but this ones crammed to capacity with idiots that dont know how to drive. Nothing special about it. "But what about the celebrities", yeah, oooo, celebrities. You mean the people that get DUIs EVERY friggen weekend, or get busted for drugs and get a slap on the wrist for it and sent on their way. Yeah thats something to look up too. Losers. Anyways, Im just cranky because my computer decided it did not like one of its RAM chips and melted it. So now I have to go out and buy a new pair (theyre dual channeled linked RAM, they work better as twins). And on top of that I have a wicked cold and can barely think straight at work. Goooooood times. Well, keeses to the gf, hugs to everyone else. (there no you all have my cold, mwuehahahahahaah, thats right, suffer with me =~.^=)

Seems like only yesturday that I was cobbling ogether the first draft of the first GN. Well here goes round two. BREAKING NEWS!!!! Just had a nice Earthquake! 5.8, shook the whole building. It was pretty wild. Been through a couple of 4s, but theyre were nothing compared to this. I like the exponential scale they use. The difference between 4 and 5 is like the difference between 1 and 10. Gooooood times. Not too much happening, just slowly getting back into the swing of things. Not much to report, kind of a boring life =~.^=

A little bit about movies. So I saw Mamma Mia over the weekend back to back with Batman. I have to say I have never enjoyed a movie as much as I enjoyed watching Mamma Mia. I litterally almost started singning along in the theater. And if you know anything about me you would say to yourself "Cat sing... lol, never happen." It was the most fun Ive ever had watching a movie. I kinda want to see the Brodway show now. As for the Dark Knight, what can I say, it was a masterpiece. It lived up to every little shred of hype that was pasted on it. I was sucked in from the get go. Very good movie. I highly recommend seeing these movies back to back. Preferably batman first and then Mamma Mia, a dark tragic story to a story that will have you singing along and dancingin the theater. Cheers

I worked super hard on them and I hope it stood up to your expectations. We are nearing 170 pages, which means we are almost 3/4 of the way to the Second Graphic Novel. Volume 2 will contain pages 101-200, along with a bunch of fun extras just like the first. And this time, everything will lrun swiftly and smoothly, none of this 4 month crap. Not too much news the bonus comics are going real well. Its busy work but no more then usual. Just a couple little sacrifices of time here and there and ta-daaaa a 3rd page. Its a wonder what you can do if you set your mind to it.

Alright heres the deal. For June I will be upadting 3 times a week for as long as I can until the end of June. The comic will still update Tue and Fri, but there will be an additional comic posted every SUNDAY. This way if I cannot get sundays up in time I will just post it on Tue. The comic will ALWAYS update Tue/Fri come hell or high water. So no matter what you will still be getting 2 comics a week if I happen to miss the extra sunday page. Not that Im going to miss a page. That would be lame. So do not forget to check back on Sundays in June. This event is only happening in June so enjoy it while it lasts. This is part experiment, part reward. An experiment to see what it will take to produce three pages a week and a reward to all the readers/fans/critters that enjoy the comic.

So Ive been doin some thinkin. Ive been thinking, for the month of June Id like to make a special effort for the comic, ie, instead of updating twice a week in June, Id move to an update schedual of three times a week. Now this is just a thought for the time being. Im weighing my options right now. So in the mean time, if you would like to see the comic updated 3/week times in June instead of 2/week, send me an email with the subject line "3 Times". Or if your a forum critter give me a yell in the comments section. Ill let you know by the 31st what the final descision is.

Cleaned up the Links page a little. Tossed some old stuff out.

And one last note, go over to the Critters Corner and check out the critters webcomics. The critters on the forum are very creative people and are always drawing and telling stories. A few expressed ideas that they wanted to put into webcomic format. To make things simple and hassel free I set up a site to host their various webcomics. I take pride in being able to host these very creative and wonderful comics. Enjoy.

Yikes April is already gone and its may, half a year almost slipped by without notice. Well all in all things are good. My car decided it did not like my bank account being so cushy (the whole wopping 6 cents that were in there was threating it) and broke. The fuel sending unit cracked off. Which is fun because not only is it really hard to find and expensive, Im now also out a tank of gas. And with gas prices what they are thats like buying a whole other car. Good times.

Not much to say. Been really busy lately running back and forth for this and that. Went to the Rennisance Festival in Irwindale CA this weekend and had a blast. Ill have a few pictures up later with a link. I LOVE all the costumes there and most of all, the stories. Each and every person dressed up has a unique story to tell and will gladly tell you it in character. Im not talkin just the workers, I mean everyone. Its so fun to see that many people having that good of time just being themselves.

Okies, just a quick bit of news. I announced this in the forum earlier, and have decided to toss it onto the front page for the last few days of the contest. My girlfriend is a director going for her Masters in Film. She has produced a commercial for a contest for non-smoking. My (biased as it is) opinion is it is one of the best (if not the best (dont want to make the gf angry)). So what I (we, my gf and I) ask of you is to go vote for her commercial at Be a Reel Hero . Been quite busy lately helping my girlfriend, workin, scrambling to get commissions done, panicking as the comic is ssssslllloooowwwwllllyyyy printing, sketching the comics, attempting to sketch the next chocobo painting, attempting to sus out my Art or War concepts, organizing and tracking the latest Battle Royale contest, etc etc etc etc etc

Had a lovely Valentines day, I was extrememly surprise to find flowers (tulips, the crocases and lillys were put in there by me, they were leftovers from my creation) on my desk at work (from my gf). I got her a really pretty Teal spotted dress. And unknownst to her, while the flowers she got for me were being delivered to my office I was out creating my own flower arrangement to her. I went out and bought everything seperate, flowers, fabric, ribbon and vase. It was pretty fun.

Okies I finished my chocobo painting the other night and it is now hanging in my office at work. Theres actually ben quite a few requests for a red one. So since there is a pretty little pink chocobo in the game I shall whip her up next. I did realize one thing after hanging Blue up. I for got to paint her eyebrows in in the background pick and her lower beak is to big. Guess Ill have to fix that.

Special shout out to two of my fav comics (I saw they had ads on my page the other day and was thrilled). One of the most charming and well painted comics I have ever seen Minus, I can honestly say there is not a page that I dont read over and over and over again enjoying the subtle humor and exquisit charm. From the major thing of missing an entire day of work to the smallest thing when all the lights in your room blow out at once... The weeks seem to be getting longer, not sure how but it seems inevitable. Makin ends meet seem to be getting tougher and the little things that keep popping up seem to be multiplying. Ok NEWS!!!!!!!! The Graphic Novel has arrived. You never really realize what you have accomplished until you actually hold it in your hands. Check it out! It is (floating my own boat here) if I may say so, awesome. Pre-Orders start tomorrow (monday). It will take about 3 weeks to get the final printed copies so those of you that preorder please be patient. The first 20 will be signed and numbered (and may have a small doodle on the inside cover =~.^=)

Okies this will probably be the last news update for a while. The Comic will keep updating through the holidays, so no worries.

The Graphic Novel is finished and has been sent for the printers for a proof copy. Once I get the proof back Ill open up a preorder. The whole thing came out to 142 pages. So thats first 100 pages of the Unstuffed, and 42 pages of bonus content. Part of the bonus content is a special Graphic Novel only 9 page comic. A handful of concept art never before seen, a few pinups (of the guys and ladies ;) ) and part of the script. Should be about 15-20 dollars when all is said and done.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, can a human actually turn into a walking zombie, lol. We shall see. 80% of the way finished with the Graphic novel, been spending a few late nights smashing it together.

I had some other news but my brain is toast and Im coming up blank at the moment. Ill see what I cant scrape together later.

It has begun!! 100 pages. Wow, and sooooo many more to go. I am composing and polishing up the rest of the book this week and hope to have it off to the printers by the end of the week. All thats left is the 8 page special story that needs to be sketched. The graphic novel will include :

- Pages 1-100
- A Special 8 page comic that will only appear in the Graphic Novel
- The script up to comic page 100
- A few pages of old Concept Art that has never been posted before
- A bit of commentary
- A couple of original sketches (colored and black and white)

It should be about 15$ (US) shipping depends on where you live. Theyre not for sale just yet, thats just a guesstimate.

Woof, I really really need sleep. Been tossin and turning for the last couple days and have got no sleep at all. Nearly a walking zombie. Not to mention Real life attempting to intrude upon my time. Caught a cold, draggin on, trying valiantly to get the final proof done for the graphic novel. Lets see how thin I can stretch myself before the waveform collapses. Page 98, two to go!! I will be combining all 100 pages in a TradePaperBack/GraphicNovel once they are out. It will be the first 100 pages of this comic, a special 8 page comic for the graphic novel only, 20 or so pages of concept art and such that hasnt been shown before, the script up to this point and what ever else I can think to toss in. Either way it should be about 15$ a copy. I will let you know when things solidify. Hopefully I can get them made before Christmas.

Novemeber is off to a start running like a mad man. Years almost up, 100 pages is nearing with every passing of a week. I still need to plan the layout and such but rest assured the TB should be available by January... I hope, lol.

Battle Royale 11 is in its second week and we already have a few humorous entries.

Ive been really sick the last two days (not that stopped me from dragging my fevered corpse to work) and have kind missed a few little things here and there. One being the Halloween special which is on its way I promise. Once I can find an available slot of time to fit it in. lol =>.<=

So I was wandering through target on Halloween looking for Extra Extra strength NyQuil, something to get me through the night so I didnt completely ruin Sharkbytes night (as we were going out for dinner after work) and hoping to score a pair of orange cat ears from the haloween section. Upon reaching the halloween section I find the taget employees just finishing putting up the next holiday. No not Thanksgiving, apparently thats not a holiday anymore. They went straight for the throat and vomited Christmas all over the place. Distraught I enquired to a nearby Target employee where the rest of the halloween stuff had migrated to. After a look of sheer confusion at my mundane question the said employee mumbled something about managers and hobbled off. At which point I gave up on the cat ears, and the NyQuil as they seemed to be out of namebrand and generic (yay). Luckily SharkByte had some at her house. KO'd me after dinner and she ended up taking care of me the rest of the night.What a crappy Halloween date I am. lol =>.<=

Battle Royale #11 is also up and running. Im super excited about both contest as this is one of my favorite holidays. Its a holiday where everyone drops their fear and wants of who they pretend to be everyday, and have fun dressing up in wild outrageous costumes. You get to see personalities and imagination you never knew existed in some, and a all out fun time in others.

There should be a Halloween Special up as well, sooner or later here. Work has me in crunch mode so its tough to find a bit of time inbetween to organize stuff for myself.

Halloween is right around the corner. In honor of the even I will be hosting a seperate contest from the regular Battle Royales. This Special Halloween contest is, you guessed it, a dress up contest. To join in the fun all you have to do is dress up and take a picture of yourself and post it in the contest thread. The Contest starts Monday (29th) of next week and runs to Sunday 11:59pm (Nov 4th). The prize is a full color comission of your choice. You name it and Ill draw it up and ship it out to you.

On that note Battle Royale #11 is also starting next week, so get you mediums ready and get ready to artify an idea.

Work has me by the shorts and is running me in circles. So Im working a lot of OT and I apologize for being scarce. Life has a way of sneaking up on you and crackin you upside the head with a 2x4.

In other news, most of southren california is on fire now. Quite litterally, Orange county, San Diego and a few others are buring out of control. The smoke rises in a cloud that blots out the sun casting a sickly orange light onto everything. Looks like the world is about to end. I only have one thing to say about the world ending, there had better be zombies. If the world ends and there are no zombies Im going to be pissed.

You ever have an ephiphany that has changed your outlook on life so profound and drastic, that all it can leave you doing is laughing. Team Fortress 2... I have played it and deemed it... awesome! Lol the art direction and play control is just too much fun, I cant wait till it officially comes out on the 10th. I have created a Plush and Blood group on steam so if anyone wants to join shoot me an email and we'll make a Plush and Blood kill squad. For all those out there that do not know Team Fortress 2, let me direct you to a few vids, hehehehehe, to convert you.

The overall design of the game takes me back to the good 'ole days of Full Throttle, Monkey Island, and the old school games that we never stopped playing. Can't wait.

Firday is among us and the weeked is almost here, I hope you all had a good week. Im slowly putting everything back together here so have patience, Im almost back entirly. Id say life is about70% back to what it used to be. I cant say normal because, hell, Ive never been normal. I draw stuffed animals killing eachother for gods sake. Im probably a psych thesis paper waiting to happen. But anyways, still have a desk with no legs, we'll see how that treats me over the weekend when I attempt to color comics. lol

First piece of news... I will be without internet at home until the 25th. Kinda steamed about it but theres no use getting mad at whats already been done. So if you need to get in touch with me, those of you that have my cell can use it, or you can feel free to contact me while I am at work via email, PM, and IM. Thursdays RP will still be a go, Ill just run it from work instead of home. The Comic will continue to update on time, but the archive and previews may not. The news will keep coming though I am reduced to writing this in notepad in basic html script. Yay for my programing knowlege. Im not gone Im just missing half my legs.

Second piece of news, Battle Royale #9 is up and running, no pic of the games yet, because as mentioned above I have no internet which means I cannot upload a picture unless I scan it, save it, transfer it, take it to work, copy it over and upload it.

September... wtf thats like 4 months from the end of the year. Where has it all gone.

Battle Royale #8 is in its second week and going strong. Lovin the entries so far. I have to say it again we have a lot of talented critters on the forum.

OH!! on that note I got my first piece of hate mail the other day *dance*. You know no matter how many followers or praise you get your never truely popular until you get your first piece of hate mail. It was about the forum and some other bollox and was poorly documented and ignorant. I had a good laugh at it.

In lighter news tomorrow I start my new job as a Mocap animation rigger/cleanup. Busy work but at least its a foot in the door.

A special thanks to a very good friend that made my weekend a blast, and unforgettable. You know who you are. Thank you a million times over.

Battle Royale #8 is at the end of its first week and we already have a few really good entries.

Not too much more to report. Juggling too many chainsaws as usual. Little kitty is a pain in the ass and all too cute in the same go. Persona 3 is really fun, just dont try to date more then 3 girls at a time in game... it kinda get you in trouble... (alot like real life go figure =~.^=).

In other news my roomates, while driving down the freeway found a little kitten trying to run up the on ramp. So bringing it home they give it a bath (as it was a very dirty little kitty), only to find out it is infested with fleas. So much so that its fur moves on its own. Bleh. So the next day we take it to the vet to get it dewormed and defleaed. He tosses a few drops of Front Line on him tosses us a free thing of kitty food and we are good to go. So little kitty spends a day itching as all the fleas die. Ill tell you what, that Front Line is a miracle worker, two drops on the back of kittys neck and it wiped them all out. After kitty had been defleaed I gave him another bath with flea shampoo (which he was not to thrilled about). And then dusted all the carpets for fleas and vaccumed. So far so good. No fleas anywhere yet. Though kitty believes it is his job to sit on any keyboard in the house that he hears typing. Not to mention he like to "help" draw. Swear that cat can hear a pencil scratch from across the apartment. He'll be gone, Ill draw a line and hes sitting beside me saying "hey whatcha doing, can I help, look my butt is awesome on your paper.". Anyways we have no idea if we're going to keep the little tyke. This is his trial week for sure.

If you have a chance pick up the Persona 3 OST, its pretty good as far as video game soundtracks go.

Battle Royale #7 is in its final stages. It was a blast, thanks for all who entered. Thanks to FurryMink for helping supply the idea. A lot of impressive talent went into these pieces, creativity at its best. Winner will be announced tomorrow when the vote has ended.

Life as usual otherwise, though I did take Satureday off and had a good time playing video games and talking to a good friend. Nice to take a break everyonce in a while. Ill have to schedual another one for next year =~.^=

August is nearly over... where the hell did this year go. I mean it was woosh, zing, gone. Not even a "Hi how are ya" or a stop for a cup of tea. Years should not be allowed to fly by this quickly. They should have some sort of breaking system to make them slow down. Curses, Im almost 25, yet another year on my quarter life crisis (thats right Im living to be 100... maybe even more... =>.>=)

Anyways moving the end of September, Comic will NOT stop, news posts however might get a little shaky but oh well, who reads this dribble anyways. Cheers

Wellllllll after finding out that I had a flat tire this morning I used my portable air compressor to pump it back up and drive my car to work. Everyone there tells me to take it to the shop. I say,"Why?". They are like, "So it can be fixed". Im like "Its just a friggen screw, I can fix that." They cant seem to understand that. So I go out at lunch jack my car up, take the tire off, rip the screw out with my trusty leatherman, prime the puncture, use my puncture repair tools to mend it, fill it with a can of fixall, grease the front end bushing of my car and thow it back on in less then 15 minutes. Then came the hard part... getting the damned hubcap back on. It took me nearly as long to just put the hubcap on as doing the entire job. I swear they make those things impossible to put on. So after a flat tire, busted knuckles, burning myself on hot metal thats been in the sun all day, getting dirt and grease up to my elbows (my mom would kill me if she knew I was working on my car in work clothes), and spending time working on my car, I find that there is no greater joy in life then working on my car. Its truly good times.

This Comic (53) is one of my faves. Anetteas one of my favorite characters to draw. She always looks so helpless all the time which makes it a nice contrast to Fox's confidence and Brown's anger. I really enjoy how her wallpaper turned out. It is one of my faves beside one that is yet to be revealed.

First off Id like to say HI! to me ma and pa. I dont think parents get told enough how much their kids appreciate them. I was chattin in the Forum the other day about my family and I realized, I really miss them. I miss sitting on the deck chillin with my dad shooting .22's, I miss sitting in the kitchen talking to my mom, I miss the adventures my brother and sister and I used to have and the stories we used to tell. Good Morning!!! Hows life people? Its Friday (thank God/Budda/Odin/The pink elephat in your closet/who ever) the weekend cometh. On that note, that means there is only one day left to get your entries in. I must say that I am highly impressed with the ones already entered. This is going to be one heck of a Battle Royale.

Odin Sphere is out and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time playing a game. I worked on it while I was employed at Atlus (my names in the credits yay!) and I must say I enjoyed the hell out of it. I may or may not be giving a copy away in the next Battle Royale... only time can tell.

News...news...news... hmmmmm *looking around room* Nut bunnies, I really have nothing to report. I guess I could rant about relationships, or gas prices but... Im over my last relationship and I always calculate my gasoline bill at 5 dollars a gallon (keeps me ahead of the oil game). Hmmmm... I could rant about the dating scene or politics... but then Id have to give a rats pa-toot about either. Actually I cant really rant because Im in a really good mood, and am as far from drepressed as they come.
Oh, one thing to report, I did a huge 36"x24" acrylic painting of Fox, it turned out pretty awesome, I think Im either going to hang it over my bed or in my office at work. Id take a pic of it but I lost my digital camera. =!.!=
Ah and one more thing, I forgot to post it on the 13th because Im an idiot but Happy Moms Day!! (and yes I called me ma on moms day, I didnt forget). And Battle Royal#3 is up and running, jump into the forums to enter. Cheers

Warning!!! From here on out the comic will progressivly get darker (mood/atmosphere) and far more graphic. Just a heads up for those of weak demeanors.
In other news Battle Royale #3 will start on Sunday the 13. So get your tools warmed up and ready to rock. This time it will go on for two weeks to give people a little more of a chance to whip something up.

Man I never realized how much I missed table top/pen and paper gaming until stubled upon a bunch of back copies of Knights of the Dinner table. Lol, nerd out back in the day. I remember this one time we went from Friday at 1PM after class (college) until sometime saturday night. Shoot it could have even been Sunday morning for all I know. Woof we must have went through something like tweleve cases of pop and at least six pizzas. Lol, I remember we had absent mindedly built this giant tower of pop cans in the corner of Chris' dorm room. I also remember that notorious pop tower still being there a week later when the crew reconveined. Lol, that was good times. Sigh, sometimes I can be such a nerd.

Happy Birfday to me Pa!! We celebrated his brifday last weekend with a huge party that a whole ton of people came to. Needless to say we had a friggen blast. Stories and tales from the olden days being told this way and that, I was in overload. I also learned that my brother has much better coordination drunk playing beer pong then I do. =@.@= Lets just say that he wiped the floor with me, quite litterally... Special shout out to relatives that made it. You guys rock. Especially two of my most favorite aunts that I dont get to see very often. You know who you are. =-.^=

In other news, I have no idea what I did to piss off god/gods/budda/zeus but wow did he/they do a number on me over the weekend. To say it was a series of unfortunate events is an understatment in the least. Im fairly sure he/they've been setting me up since early thursday. All the little coincidences all lining up like bullets in a magazine ready to mow me down. I wouldnt mind so much, as I do enjoy a good bit of irnoy every now and then, but they kick so hard right in the wallet. Oh well, I guess its just my lot in life to suffer the wrath of my own absent mind. At least my dads birthday party was freakin awesome. I never realized how much I missed family until I had not seen them for some time. Needless to say every second with them was awesome.

Helllllooooo!!!! End of April here already and all I have to say is, what its almost MAY already!! Posting the preview early today just as a teaser, Firdays comic will be up and ready tomorrow morning right on time. Got some business I have to attend to thats going to take me all night so Im going to test out this new auto updater thinger. Fingers crossed and lets hope it workds. In other news found a copy of Battle Royale at Barns and Noble. Which I dont even have to say, bought immediatly. A huge fan of the movie and manga, I cannot wait to read it. But its about fourth on my back log of books that need to be read (Day Watch, Snow Crash, The Cyberiad, are up before it), which itself is on a back log of things that need to be read (i.e. comics, graphic novels, books, etc...) which itself is on a back log of things I would like to do but have utterly no time for (write, play games, read, sleep, etc...). If anyone has more good book recommendations gimme a yell. Im always lookin for something interesting/entertaining to read.

So Day Watch pretty much has me riveted to my seat while reading it. I have to restrain myself to an hour or two at the most or I would never get any work done at all. The movie... woah... put it this way, I bought a version from Russia with NO english subtitles and have watched it six times. Blew me away.
On a side note, anyone know of any good 16th-17th century movies set in France or Paris? Preferably around the French Revolution 1770-1800 area. Been lookin for a few well directed period films. Though I will settle for B movie awesomeness/awfulness. All I can find is mostly Victorian England films, which are awesome, but that doesnt help me understand the French during that time.

Hellllllooo Monday people. Sitting here listening to m.c.A.T's Bomb the Head (Tenjho Tenge theme song) and finishing up a piece of Fan Art for my friends over at Frederick the Great. Those guys never cease to pull a chuckle from me. I acctually drew the thumnails on the back of my paycheck envelope at work. Sudden inspiration always strikes when you are without proper drawing materials. I had a blast drawing the full sized and coloring it. I get a kick out of the characters in the series. Enjoy. Dun Dun Daaaaaa Friday the 13th. Unlucky for some, extra lucky for me. Anyways, got distracted and am just posting this. For got to do it at midnight o'1 because I was goofin off in Maya sprucin' up the Demo Reel with four new models. Its good times, might even persuade myself to post a couple sneak peeks in an easter egg on here. Talk about balls to the wall the entire week, it has been back to back busy. Every minute is spent doing something to further my meager pathetic life. To much to do, to much to do, running in circles. Brings me back to This. Eventually I will catch my tail but until then Im going to work for another hour then call it quits for the night. So I should jump back into the fray here. Oh and there's a new Cast page up if you have not seen it already. Our poor little Anettea. Hello hello, hope everyones Easter went well. Its all one can do to not eat enough candy to make ones teeth fall out. Picked up the new book by Sergei Lukyanenko Day Watch. So far Im lovin it. Its the second in his Watch trilogy the first being Night Watch, which I must say kicked holy ass, and the last being Dusk Watch. There is a movie off the first book, but dont judge a book by the movie. They have very little in common. The book far out preforms the movie. Not that Im bashin it, I liked the movie as well hell I own both the Russian copy and the american copy which do differ enough to make em different). I have to hand it to the director, he managed to cram the three complete stories in Night Watch into one fair movie. Even though it didnt really follow the book it kept in spirit if anything else. As did the Day Watch movie (which I also own, I have a region free DVD player so I just buy em straight from Russia instead of waiting forever for em to come out here) Beautiful effects, makes me sad to see hollywood so caught up in itself that its missing phenomanal foriegn movies. Anywho, if you see either book pick it up, you wont be sorry. Trust me, I may be a cat but Im a well read cat. These paws have turned many a page. Hope everyones week is going well. Night.

Awesome news people! Got my first piece of fan art to day from my buddy The Count over at Frederick The Great : A Most Lamentable Comedy. Not to much happenin on my end. Itunes decided it didnt like the music on my Ipod and wiped it for me. I thought "how nice, thats just what I wanted".
So yesturday (thats Wedensday) I walk out of my apartment to find my car in a pool of green liquid. "Hmm" I ponder to myself, "I do hope that is the person next to me leaking Anti-freeze." Nope, the Blue Fox got her lower radiator hose stuck in the front suspension and piched a hole in it. So dumping a gallon of radiator fluid into my car I drove it up to my auto repair shop. So Im sitting in their office chillin, bullshittin with the master mechanic we'll call, the Thin Bear. So me and the Thin Bear, whom I occasionally play poker with, are waitin for the part to show up. When it does finally show, Im thinkin to myself, sweet this'll be fixed up and Ill get to work on time. But!! God says, Muewhahaha, NO. Guy brought the wrong hose. So Im like "No worries" and just call work tell em Ill be a little late. Half hour later Im sittin there chillin talkin to Thin Bears wife, whom we'll call Lady Bear. Lady Bear loves me, mostly cause when I talk alot about something I like I get very enthusiastic and excited which get everyone else enthusiastic and excited. So anyways, second parts guy shows up. Got a different hose. But this one is.... to short. Its around 9:30 at this point, most people would be panicing and yelling their heads off, but if you know me at all you know I never panic. Im as calm as a sleeping lamb 100% of the time, (my previous GF's hated me for it, they could never get under my skin and make me angry) So I turn back and BS with Thin Bear for a min. The boss comes in, whom we'll call, Boss Bear. Boss Bear also loves me cause I talk about hunting and shooting stuff with him. So Boss Bear needs to run over to the Circle of Orange and do some stuff. Hes like "Doin anything?" Im like "Meh, not really." cause at this point yelling and screaming would only make my stress raise and not get anything done. So anyways we walk out and he tosses me the keys to his H3. We drive down to the Circle and I grab some breakfast while he visits the courthouse for something. Anyways we have a small adventure at Radio shack and then drive back to find out the thrid delivery guy got himself lost. Yay. Its around 11ish at this point. Usually Im at work by about 8:30. We had went to radio shack because Boss Bear bought a PA system for the shop and after installing it found out that the mic they sent had no end just five wires, a DYI kinda thing. And as Boss Bear knew nothing on the subject he was hopin Radio Shack could help. Luckily I was there and used my vast knowlege of electronics to jimmy rig the mic system for the PA together. So Im sittin behind the desk hot wirin the PA system together fielding calls, when my roomate Pixel Clutch shows up. His Jetta needed some work done on it. So we BS for half an hour before Clutch leaves and the fourth delivery guy shows up. YAY!!. Its around 12:30ish now and Lady bear comes over and offers me lunch. As I am always hungry Im like "hells yeah free lunch". So by the time I finish lunch they had the Blue Fox up and running. Im chillin in the office waitin for Thin Bear to come back do I can see how much damage its done to my wallet. Thin Bear walks in and is like "What are you still doin here?" Im like "Gotta pay ya" Thin Bears like *grin nod* "Get otta here already" Im like "sweet". And to make a long story short, made it to work by like 1. Everyone at work was havin a good day, this cats hide is still in tact, and all was well. The end.

FOUND IT. YAY. Eraser. Took an adventure to get it though. But in the end we found a little slice of heaven. Well not exactally little, the art supply store to end art supply stores. Aptly named Art Supply Warehouse. Everything you could ever ask for. Markers, colored pencils, graphite, charcole of a dozen different types. Every weight of paper imaginable. Enough paint to color the Ifel tower, twice (not to mention in every color man can see). Brushes, caligraphy, clays, wire, stencils, easles, lights, glass, etc, etc, etc. And who were managing the registers and isles, an army of angles. Cute girls everywhere. This tired cat might wander his tail back there and put on his charm.
Anyways bought five erasers and found the holy grail of mechanical pencile lead. 4B in .5 size. Needless to say I bought the only four there. Say goodbye to HB and B lead Im back with 4B. The darkness lives!!! God I was tired of hard lead. I really dont know how architechs and drafters use that 3-5HB crap. You cannot get a dark line with it, the most you can get is light grey before you tear right through your paper. I know I know, manga artists are going to chew my ass, "HB lead is great for detailing". I agree, thats a given, Im just saying you cant get charcole quality out of HB lead, no mater how hard you press. Anyways Ive talked to much as I usually do so Ill let you all go. Nite.

Wow Friday again already. March pretty much flew by. Dont know what to say but here comes April. Damn, not enough time to do everything that needs to be done. Drawing drawing drawing, writing, writing, writing. Cant even stay in touch with my friends. Not that I had a social life to begin with but you know how it is. Gotta keep the three friends you have happy not to mention that damned pink elephant and the shifty rabbits of the world >.> Erasers, lets talk about em. If your an artist you know what I mean. You have your trusted eraser and your lucky pencil. Two things that you would surely die without, I know I would anyways. A good eraser is crucial to make stubbron lines and accidents disappear. An eraser thats to hard smears the hell out of graphite, an eraser thats to brittle leaves chuncks everywhere which then lead to smearing. The durability and texture are crucial in making an eraser that picks up even the darkest line without a complete mess of smears and eraser shavings. My favorites the Mars Staedtler white eraser (sometimes swapping out for the always useful Kneaded Eraser). So anyways my faithful eraser disappeared which put a serious damper on my drawing activities. Ive had the damed thing for four years and poof gone. Ive been all around this fair city and cannot find one proper art supply store in which to purchase a new one. Why does that always happen, just when you need something it magically disapears. And how hard is it to find an art supply store. Eventually I went to Target and picked up a pack of what they call "white erasers" that are little more then squishy vinal. I think I might just order like ten of my favs and keep the rest as backups. CAn never have to many erasers.

Wow, 27th already, time really does fly. Comics up and ready for its public. I will have to say that I am having a lot of fun doing this comic. So much so that I have already written two more stories to tell after this one is finished. Im so excited that I have to restrain myself and concentrate on one thing at a time. Lol, I guess I just love telling stories.
On a side note, I played the Nintendo Wii the other day and I have to say I love its new controlers. Its pretty much what Ive always wanted in a controler. The ability to "point and click" as it were is pure genious. Anyways my friend code is on my About page. On that note Wii golf rocks and the new Legend of Zelda is pretty much tip top awesome. I may just have to pick my self up everything when Im back on my feet monetarily speaking. For now though this cat is off to dreamland. To bad my bed doesnt fly.

FRIDAY!!! Yay, almost the weekend. Rejoice my friends freedom is at our door. So anyways (a little rant) coming back from lunch at work I walk by my car and see something that made me down right irate. Two paralelle scratches running along the rear passengers side quarter. Scratches that could have only come from a shoping cart. Like a shopping cart the people in this apartment complex seem intent on stealing from grocery stores. Yes thats right, 80 percent of the people that live here steal shopping carts. I dont know what for, maybe to haul their groceries home, or laundry but they leave them everywhere. There is acctually a company that comes around in a truck to pick up loose shopping carts as this seems to be a common problem. Etiquette would say a shopping cart should stay with in the vacinity of its store, not 12 blocks from it. So apparently last night one of the shopping cart bandits decided to run it into my car. I didnt notice till this afternoon because I did not see the passengers side until lunch. Sigh, I just got this thing put back together and running and now someone slams a shopping cart into it. Quite impossible I have come to believe. Life parallels Basil Fawlty's erratic estate so well. When are we not juggling the impossible, chasing our tails, trying to catch rats, and attempting to communicate with those around us that arnt exactally the brightest crayons in the box. Lol. So far so good. Though I did find out what happens when an over eager cat catches that fuzzy catipiller connected to its butt, all I can say is Unexpected Results. Jobs going well but thats real life and who wants to hear about that. Forums starting to populate which makes me cheer and curse all at the same time. Because with all the fun people that you get with it there are always there that have nothing better to do then pick a fight. In other news its an hour to Friday and twnety hours to the weekend. So I was sitting there last night doing a drawing exercise (swtiching pictures every ten sec doing gesture drawings for five minutes, then onto 30sec for 5min, then 1min for 10 min, then 5min for 20min) when poof cuteness attacked my pencil and BOOM! I decided I had to color it with colored penciles and was pleasently surprised with the results.

Ok I did a bit of site maintence, heres the list of things that changed :

- MISC -changed to- FUN STUFF-ING
- The FUN STUFF-ING page (previously MISC) got a much needed redesign
- Added a bunch of stuff to the LINKS page, theres some Plush and Blood links back there now and a link to a friend of mines website (we're animators if anyone cares)

Whorin myself out to the webcomic lists. Oh noes!!!! Not really though. Theyre all way back on the Links page out of sight and out of mind. Honestly I dont much care about "popularity" I just want to get my story out there. If I get popular in the process yay for me, if not, oh well nothing lost. I have fun doing this either way.

Valentines day is here. It is either the single most happy day of ones life or the single most miserable. I wish those that are couples well on this day of love, but us singlets need to ban together. Ban together and in a wild storm hit the only place in the world where singles can find love (apparently). THE BAR!! dun dun daaaaaaa. Seems like a solid plan, alcohol + depression = nothing could go wrong. =P Me on the other hand, as I have no date/sig other/gf, will be right here, contemplating life and drawing Fridays comic. Well the bells tolled 3am and Im am still sitting here. Just finished the comic and uploading it. Did not have a chance to do it earlier today or anytime this week like I usually do. Had two interviews and have been craming to learn UNIX scripting in under a week. Not to mention creating an entire city block in Maya. Ugg. Talk about a week jammed with head aches. Just reformatted one of my laptops with Fedora 6 (UNIX OS) after archiveing a shit ton of stuff off my main computer all the while reading prgraming scripts. Its good times, almost as good as getting kicked in the head with a golf shoe.Wish me luck. When Monday hits theres going to be a hell of an even busier week. This Tired Orange Cat wants to go to sleep in the very comfortable bed beside him but needs to run a few background tests on a script I wrote. So itll be an hour or two before sleep. No rest for the wicked. Also, Ive been trying a few new things, normally I take out the sketching but this time I left it in. I liked the results. Gimme some feedback.

Addendum: New image up in the Gallery. Its a higher res version of the last panel in today...yesturdays comic. I liked the way it turned out. But as it is midnight and I spent all day wrokin my ass off (got 3 interviews next week) this Tried Orange Cat is hittin the preverbial hay. Nights.

Well here it is finally lol. Thatll teach this cat to misfile his archival disks. Anywho, I highly recommend Starnger Than Fiction. Very well writtin movie. And it also proves that Will Ferral can act. Love Emma Thompson, shes pretty much the woman I want to marry in that movie. lol. And Dustin Hoffman, as always, rocks!

Been writing like a mad igeit lately. Averaging about 30 pages a day, my fingers dont hurt so much as my shoulder does. For some reason my shoulder is killing me =P

Hello Hello Hello, so anyways got a new comic up. Two new bands I believe everyone should listen to. Trans-Syberian Orchestra and Dragon Force, which I thank SomeoneEVIL for introducing me to. Speed Metal at its best. On a movie note, The Descent, came out yesturday and its pretty much awesomeness. Like a HP Lovecraft story cave style, Sara (the heroin) is pretty much my hero =^.^=
Been spending alot of time at Barns and Noble writing my fingers off. Im there so much the cute girls behind the coffee shop counter already have a medium cinnamon tea waiting mmmmmmm, yums (trying to cut down on the soda/sugar intake).
Other then that my lifes pretty uneventful, spend most of my time trying to figure out why people suddenly go from liking me to hating me with a vengence and why no matter how nice I am people still seem to want to rip my heart out. =P
Its all moot in the end, it aint over till the last shots fired and the last breaths taken.

MERRY CHRSITMAS everyone!! Yay =^.^= Hope you are all doing well. Thanks to all my friends for putting up with my constant assholedness. God knows they are made of stronger stuff then I. Updating everything for friday a bit early tonight. This cats been up into the wee hours of the night a few nights to often and needs to hit the hay early. Been coloring my hands off and killed four of my prisma color markers already =P. Updated the Story page again. One day left and then Im going home, Yay. Although I dont know if leaving my nice 70-80 degree weather for 0-30 degree weather is such a good idea ;) Sigh I guess one just has to make those sacrifices. Nothing like giving the weather a second chance. And if you have not seen "A Prairie Home Companion" I suggest you go put your shoes on, grab your wallet/purse, go to your nearest store, purchase it and then return home and watch it. I give it 5/5 paws. Although most people will not get the dry Minnesota humor, I do and I love it. =^.^=

Wow I was not aware that I was so vehemently hated by some people. It really does humor me on how people avoid me or walk on eggshells. To all those out there afraid of breaking the ivory shells beneath their feet, GROW A PAIR AND FACE ME! I assure you you will not, can not, hurt my feelings. =^.^= Anywho, Theres a little CSS text style issue that Ive been dealing with between IE and FF so if you get a 5 pixel shift thats it. Anyone out there know how to fix that?

Alright, Archive page is offically working, comic is up and Final Fantasy III for the DS is friggen awesome. I highly recomend that if you own a DS you go and buy it. This cats to pooped to think properly and the lines are beginning to run together, so Im going to hit the hay. And as it were everything worked out so I can go home for the week of my birthday (12/13 if anyone cares), yay =^.^= Not that anyone reads these news postings but I like to talk to myself seeing as its about the only conversation I get now a days. ;)
